Coffee and code are my main passions, and I love mixing them.

I’m an entrepreneur and a full-stack TypeScript developer. I’ve been in the coffee industry since 2013 and coding since 2014, and I love building tech solutions for the coffee industry 🧡

I started El Café de los Sentidos after winning a national business contest in Mexico, and we received several grants from the Ministry of Economy to grow it. Since then I’ve had the chance to work with some of the best coffee growers and coffee professionals in Mexico.

Today I’m building Koffe AI, an AI-powered operating system for the coffee industry. I love how AI and Web3 are changing the world 🎉

1. 49527feCEO / FounderKoffe AI(HEAD → main)2022 — now+

   Koffe started as a coffee marketplace (B2C and B2B) trying to fix the supply chain in the coffee industry. I built the MVP, a PWA, with Next.js, Tailwind CSS, MongoDB, Stripe and Node.js, and reached the last interview at Platanus Ventures to raise seed capital. After many logistics and supplier problems that hurt our users’ experience, I decided to pivot to Koffe AI, an AI-powered operating system for the coffee industry.

   I lead a team of three full-stack developers from Saudi Arabia building a coffee mentorship platform with React, Next.js, Material UI, Vercel, Firebase, Stripe, Mailchimp, Airtable and Google Analytics. I wanted experience with remote international collaboration, so I made it happen.

   I was accepted into batches 2 and 3 of Dev.F, the most important coding bootcamp in Latin America (backed by Google and the Inter-American Development Bank, among others). Since then I’ve worked on freelance projects, mostly for the coffee industry.

   I started this coffee company after winning a national business contest in Mexico. I built our online coffee subscription MVP with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Memberspace, Mailerlite, Zapier and Ecwid, worked with some of the best coffee growers and professionals in Mexico, and co-founded the NGO that brought the International Women’s Coffee Alliance to Mexico. I also grew my Next.js skills building the internal tools and landing pages of our coffee education business in Mexico, the US, Europe and Latin America.

   I developed a crowd-equity platform promoted by influencers, from the concept (design thinking and the Business Model Canvas) and the business plan to the legal incorporation as an S.A.P.I. de C.V. and the tech structure of the MVP. The project was for Enrique Díaz-Infante.

   I developed proposals to restructure Scientika, A.C., and the main structure of “Munin”, a business plan Scientika made for a client in northern Mexico.

   I built and managed relationships with companies and civil society organizations (CSOs). I researched, proposed and ran Corporate Social Responsibility programs with Asado del Valle, Sushi Itto, Education First and Toks, organized events with companies and CSOs, and built a CSO database for the project.

   I studied a double degree at ITAM to create organizations with a big social impact, building alliances between NGOs, companies and government to solve social problems. I dropped out after 7 years to start my coffee business, El Café de los Sentidos.
